Reliability Engineer

Full Time (Shenzhen)

【Key Responsibilities】

  • Build automation to manage and monitor infrastructure services and applications;

  • Improve all aspects of software reliability, including better monitoring, alerting and documentation;

  • Improve availability and performance of infrastructure and infrastructure-related applications;

  • Troubleshoot network infrastructure failures;

  • Implement and optimize network infrastructure for proprietary low latency trading applications at various data centers throughout the world;

  • Maintain the technological aspects of the firm's official website and other web presences.

【Profile and Skills】

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, with a strong academic record from a prestigious institution;

  • Strong attention to detail;

  • Familiarity with network communication protocols;

  • Familiarity with Linux operating system;

  • Fundamental technology knowledge on compute, storage, and networking concepts;

  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities in packet-level traffic analysis;

  • Ability to dive deep into service interdependencies and region-specific configurations to find the root of a problem;

  • (Optional) Advance knowledge and troubleshooting experience of networking, switching, routing and multicast;

  • (Optional) Prior experience in a similar SRE, DevOps, distributed computing, system engineering or administration, or a related function;

  • (Optional) Experience in deploying and supporting open source and proprietary infrastructure services.
